Production of the second-generation Ford GT closed at 1,350 units, completed by Multimatic at the company''s Markham, Ontario assembly facility between 2017 and 2022. The model was developed alongside the Ford GT racing programme that won the GTE-Pro class at Le Mans in June 2016, fifty years after the GT40''s 1966 overall victory. The car carries a 3.5-litre twin-turbocharged EcoBoost V6 producing 647 horsepower.

Ferrari F40: 1,311 Cars, One Founder's Final Approval

Production of the Ferrari F40 closed at 1,311 chassis, completed at Maranello between 1987 and 1992. The car was the final road-going Ferrari personally approved by Enzo Ferrari before his death in August 1988, and the first production car to exceed 200 miles per hour. The model carries a 2.9-litre twin-turbocharged V8 and a tubular steel chassis with carbon-fibre reinforcement.
